‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For January 2nd: Jason Watch Out – It’s A Trap!

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for January 2nd, 2020 indicate that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is going to have to deal with one hell of a surprise when Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) tell him about the texts inviting him to Shiloh’s memorial service. He won’t know what to think’ especially since it makes absolutely no sense at all! Willow sent him to jail by testifying against him in court and Sam is the one that killed him and Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) had broken free of his influence, so who in the world could have organized this shindig let alone invited two people that would arguably only show up just to make sure he was actually dead?

Jason is thinking along the same lines we all are, that this is all a trap set up by Shiloh’s followers and that they are trying to carry out some sadistic beyond the grave wish that Shiloh had to wreak vengeance on anyone that had crossed him in life. He may employ Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) soon to get to the bottom of things. Neither of them wants Sam or Willow getting hurt by the remaining, crazed followers of Shiloh but that may just be unavoidable ultimately. Yikes!

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is busy trying to rein in hubby Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) trying to make sure that he doesn’t go doing something they’re both going to regret now that he realizes that Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is keeping the secret of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) and has been since before Halloween and that is why his wife has been sneaking around with him. He accuses Jax of committing a crime but it looks like Jax is not the only one harboring a fugitive.

That’s what Carly will remind him of and that just as easily as he could go to the cops on Jax, Jax could also go to the cops on Sonny for aiding and abetting an illegal immigrant and ICE won’t look too happy on Sonny, considering his past. Also, Dev is a kid but they would still deport both him and Jax if given the chance and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) would forever hate Sonny for putting both deportations into motion so there is that to consider. Carly tells Sonny to keep a cool head and not involve the cops.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will open the DNA results and realize that Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) was tested as her own DNA sample and her own actual DNA sample was put forth as Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattson) DNA sample, that is the way that they got a confirmed Mother-Daughter match for the DNA. This will seal the deal for Nina and she will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was involved in the DNA swap involving her alleged ‘daughter’ and that is when she will decide then and there that she is done with Valentin for good.

That’s when Sasha will come along and try to convince her that there is still some good in Valentin (Sasha, gurl, really, what is the point?!), and that is when Nina will be furious because she will realize that all this time Sasha has been covering for Valentin! Sasha wonders just how long Nina’s known but we all know that Nina never really believed Sasha, to begin with, so there’s that. Still, Sasha will advocate for Valentin, and ultimately for Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlet Fernandez) because she doesn’t want to see Nina throw her family away on a mistake Valentin made that was ultimately meant to make her happy. Nina definitely has a lot on her plate to consider

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For January 2nd: Laura Tries To Set The Record Straight About Charlotte’s Secret Bodyguard’.

Speaking of Charlotte, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) will give her a little talking to about her ‘secret bodyguard’ and assure her that he is most definitely not real and that the guy in the picture that she’s talking about is most likely her deceased Uncle Nik. Charlotte is skeptical because she’s seen and spoken to this guy more than once but she supposes that he could just look like her Uncle. But she is insistent that he does indeed exist and he does! The kid ain’t crazy. (I swear if they send her to therapy I’m gonna throw hands!)

Valentin will be up to his old tricks as he eavesdrops on Ava Jerome (Maura West) and now believes that the codicil to the Cassadine will actually do exist. He’ll be in a flurry of panic and snap at attorney Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) that this codicil needs to be found and destroyed. Jax will warn Ava that he doesn’t want Nina getting hurt and he will hope that she heard him. Looks like it’ll go through one ear and out the other as far as Ava is concerned, the girl does what she wants. Is this going to cause some drama? You bet!
