‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has dreams in which Harmony Miller (Inga Candranel) is warning her about someone.
Fans assume the dreams are about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but what if Harmony’s warning to Willow is about Nelle Benson (Chole Lainer)?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nelle Supposedly Fell off a Cliff
The last time we saw Nelle, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was trying to save her from falling off a cliff to no avail. Nelle presumably fell to her death in August 2020.
Nelle’s death and hidden paternity were how the feud between Nina and Carly got started. In January 2021, Nina found out that Nelle was her daughter after discovering her daughter’s half of a heart necklace. Carly tried to hide the necklace and Nelle’s paternity from Nina.
Since Nelle was gone, the only family she had left (or so she thought) was Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). Thus began a long battle between Carly and Nina, especially when Nina kept the truth about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being alive from Carly and Sonny’s family as payback.
Two years later, when Harmony was on her deathbed, she told Carly that Willow was Nina’s daughter. Carly didn’t tell Nina or Willow until she found out that Willow had leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant.
In January 2023, Carly admitted to Nina that Willow was her daughter. Now, Willow is married to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Wiley looks at Willow like she is his mother, not knowing or remembering Nelle. She is also tentatively getting to know her mother, Nina.
But what if Nelle was alive? It would rock several relationships in Port Charles, namely Nina and Willow. Nelle would undoubtedly take issue with Wiley calling Willow “Mommy” and being raised by her and Michael.
‘GH’ Spoilers: Nina Must Choose Between Two Daughters
Nina would feel forced to choose between her two daughters: the good one, Willow, or the bad one, Nelle. It would be a big mess.
Nelle also caused many problems for Carly, as Nelle set it up to look like she and Sonny slept together. She drugged Sonny, got undressed, and got into bed with him. He woke up believing that he and Nelle slept together.
Nelle recorded Sonny saying that the two of them had sex, and she played him like a violin, begging him not to tell Carly. After all, Carly had been so good to her, and she would never betray her. Sure.
Nelle was jealous that her half-sister, Carly, got to live a life she could only dream of, while Nelle’s childhood was a nightmare.
Nelle’s vendetta continued, as she purposely became pregnant with Carly’s son, Michael, and had his baby.
So imagine for a minute what it would be like if Nelle returned to reclaim her life. That would mean her son, Wiley, and her newfound mother, Nina.
It would be devastating for Willow, who spent all that time near death’s door. Finally, being free to enjoy her family, only to have the rug pulled out from beneath her.
If you think Nina is a troublemaker, you would be shocked by Nelle, and Harmony would be right to warn Willow about her not-so-dead sister.
