‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for October 19th reveal Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) made a slip and now he wants to control the backlash. However, he might not be able to contain this thing if someone else has anything to say about it. Plus, we see that nicer side to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is under pressure. Let’s see what happened.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ned’s secret not safe, Valentin making amends, and can Carly handle the pressure?
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Ned let his infidelity slip to Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) Friday. October 19th, vows this secret will go with him to the grave. We beg to differ. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) is in the mansion and it looked like she heard everything.
Even better? Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) comes downstairs and sees Brook Lynn, accusing her of spying. Brook Lynn’s smile screams trouble. We have this feeling she’s going to either sell Ned out right there or use it to get back at him another way.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Making amends
Also, it looks like someone might be making amends for the child con. Valentin asks Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) if she’ll let him help her find Phyllis. He actually sounds very sincere and kind here.
Put that together with his behavior with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) Thursday, and he’s in danger of being one of the good guys. Seriously, we love he’s showing this other side to himself.
We also believe he’s kind of motivated by guilt here. He obviously didn’t do as great a job as he thought with the search and missed the whole necklace clue. Something Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) made quick use of.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Off the wagon
Elsewhere, it looks like an intervention might be in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) future. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) confronts Alexis about her drinking. We just don’t see Alexis being in a place to accept the problem, so she’ll likely fight with Sam over it. And we all know how Sam will take that one. Expect the whole family getting brought in on this soon.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can’t handle pressure?
Finally, there’s the Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) death. When we left off, Carly was a nervous wreck about having to speak to more authorities about the night Nelle took Wiley. She even tried to postpone more, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) advised against it. This could be bad.
See, in the promo Carly says she gave her sworn statement that night, and she stands by it. There was something in the tone of her voice and her body language that bugged us.
We wouldn’t be a bit surprised if she raises some alarm bells in whoever is doing the questioning. Sounds like Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has her work cut out for her. And given her recent record? Carly better start praying.
