‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that star Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) is starting off the year on the right foot. Not only is she pregnant with her first child, but it looks like her character Chloe will be expecting her own baby with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart)! Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Elizabeth says that she was floored when she found out that Chloe Mitchell would be pregnant, too. It was like an actress’ dream come true as she wouldn’t have to worry about hiding her growing baby bump in front of the cameras anymore.

Elizabeth told the publication, “I mean, I don’t know why I just never thought of that as a possibility. I just assumed we were going to be hiding it. We were doing blocking on the set. I saw [executive producer and writer] Josh Griffith. It was the first time we had seen each other in person since he has heard the news and he gave me a big hug.”
The actress added, “I think I made some crappy joke and he said, ‘No, we are writing it in.’ I said, ‘You are?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I think it will be a really beautiful story to tell.’ I was about to cry. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I didn’t think that was a possibility. That’s such a good idea.’ No pregnancy pad this time.” With that said, it will be interesting to see what happens next for Chloe and Kevin. It’s an exciting time, indeed. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
