‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers for December 26th, 2019 indicate that for Steffie Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), hope springs eternal in regards to her brother, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), she desperately wants to believe that Thomas is a man of his word and will stick by whatever he’s telling everyone that he’s no longer obssessed with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and that he’s trying to move on with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) but she’ll still be skeptical of him, so today is when she gets to inform the biggest skeptic of them all, Mama Bear Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that there’s a plan in place to snare Thomas and the lure is Zoe Buckingham.

Of course, Brooke doesn’t really believe that it’ll work. In theory it sounds like phenomenal plan but in practice she thinks that Zoe may not be the correct person to bring Thomas down. However, this plan is better than no plan at all which is what they’ve been working with in the past, so Brooke will be glad that there’s some kind of plan in place. She’ll be proud of son-in-law Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for heading it up too. The only real problem that she’ll have with it is being left out of the plan for so long.

Meanwhile, on another train of thought, Steffy will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that she has to win the fashion showdown against Hope and Thomas. Since Steffy ‘lost’ Liam and baby Phoebe/Beth (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) to Hope she’ll say that its imperative that she win this one. And who could blame her?

As relieved as Brooke is about Liam doing something about Thomas she’ll corner him and go off on him about being left out of the plan to take him down. He’ll be apologetic at first but he’ll maintaing that this is simply something that he couldn’t afford to tell everybody because the fewer people who know about the plan the simpler task it will be to fool Thomas. Liam will then launch into a rant of his own about how Thomas has done nothing but destroy lives and they’ll both agree that its dangerous for Thomas to be working that closely with Hope with the chance of her lowering her guard around him.

Looks like they have every right to be worried. Thomas will put the moves on Hope by sliding his hand over hers in what he claims is a ‘design demo’ but Hope won’t like this little move at all and will snap at him and call him out on the thing he’s trying to pull. She’ll make him promise that he is done obsessing over her. Thomas will assure Hope that the only thing he wants is for her to win the fashion show and for them to be great co-parents together, nothing else… right… and if you’ll believe that I have some ocean front property in Arizona I’d like to sell you.
