The show Love Is Blind has become a hit for Netflix. It reels in millions of viewers and even though there have been some successful marriages that have come from the show, Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, who fans loved together, recently filed for divorce. Iyanna has been going through some very rough times ever since and she decided to open up more to her fans about what she has been going through lately.

Iyanna got real on her TikTok this past week and just wanted to share with her fans what she was going through.

The video was about three minutes long and she told her fans, “I love that man. Of course, I can only speak to my experience and I hope that Jarrette can grow to be truly vulnerable amongst those he loves. I do not regret it, but instead will and am learning from it. As I continue to process, I’m sure I’ll share more about my marriage on my podcast, but for now, I wanted to share with those who may relate. For anyone else going through a divorce, a breakup, or just general grief, it’s okay. It’s okay to feel, it’s okay to process, and it’s okay to lean on those closet to you. Every experience was meant to teach, prune, and stretch. Embrace.”
She went on to say, “I’m crying for that girl that I was at the beginning of this marriage. I was so hopeful. And I had less baggage. And I was optimistic and I was healed. And I’m crying for that marriage that I thought could work. As much as people laugh at how long we were married, I think my expectations made it real, my hope made it real, my effort made it real, and my tears made it real.”
Her fans were quick to tell her just how strong she is for opening up in this way. One of her former Love is Blind co-stars, Natalie Lee told her, “You are the strongest person I know. I love you always. I’m so excited to move forward in this life with you!”
When Iyanna and Jarrette made the statement about divorcing, it was shocking. They are now the second couple to get divorced from the show. Fans of the show have really started to question the way that the show works, but in life, things all need a lot of work and marriage is one of those things.
