ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the ELQ meeting didn’t go quite as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) hoped. Actually, it went the exact opposite. Here’s why it was the right way to go, and where might it go for those involved? Here’s what we see.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The right outcome

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) retained his CEO position. Thanks, of course, to Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) tie-breaking vote. But it was also due to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) siding with Valentin. We’re not sure the exact agreement these two arrived at, but we can’t really blame Ned. Why?

Well, because Michael and Drew frankly gave him little reason to stay loyal. Even on the day of the meeting, they were still talking ELQ without Ned present. No matter how many times he’s complained about being left out, neither one has gotten the message.

And we do think it’s beyond unfair for them to treat Ned that way. Especially since Ned offered a more than fair compromise that could’ve sent Valentin packing, no need for Lucy to vote at all. Pride often goes before the fall, and these two were full of it. We wonder if this will be a lesson for Michael in particular. On second thought? That’s likely a no.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Villain

So, now that the deed is done and the merger has been squashed, we’re pretty sure Ned is going to be Public Enemy #1 in that family for a while. Michael has been so determined to do this his (and Drew’s) way, and he’s already still plotting again Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for what he saw as betrayal. So, we can bet Ned is getting added to that list.

We’re also pretty sure that Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) will be furious as well. With that merger a no-go, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will likely lose huge in the stock market. And that will probably leave her unable to recover her half of the Metro Court, which she sold to get the money.

Because of that, Olivia will now be stuck with a new partner who may or may not come in and order a lot of changes. And Carly’s misfortune will obviously give Michael even more reason to hate Ned and maybe want to get back at him.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Karma

To us, this feels like karma coming to pay a visit. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal, again, that Michael and Drew treated Ned pretty badly through this. They just took control and didn’t care about pushing the former CEO aside. And let’s not forget that Valentin really only went after the company because he wanted revenge on Michael.

Carly is also getting her comeuppance here. After all, Michael warned her he didn’t want her to take the risk. And she went ahead and did it, despite those objections. Then, she sold her part of the Metro Court without even talking to her partner about it.

That seems like a thoughtless move, especially since she was, again, warned her buying into the new company would be risky. There was no sure guarantee she’d be able to buy back her part in time, leaving Olivia stuck with a company as a partner. One she had no say in and found out about last second.

This situation is also likely to have a toll on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). She’s already having some medical issue, clearly. This is sure to make things worse, and we’re pretty sure it’s illness and not a pregnancy making her feel off. Most likely one she’ll need a blood relative to solve, and we all know where that will lead.
