She’s just getting things off her chest. After having had to live under her father’s thumb for 14 years, Britney Spears now says that writing a memoir about her family and her conservatorship has been “healing.” Here’s what she has to say.
According to reports, the pop singer has confirmed she is writing a book about her life, and said the process has been “healing and therapeutic.” It was reported the singer had landed the book deal a month ago and Spears confirmed it on Instagram, saying there were parts of her life she had never been able to talk openly about before.

In the now deleted post, she said: “It’s also hard bringing up past events in my life…I’ve never been able to express openly. I can only imagine that I do sound childish but I was extremely young when those events took place … and addressing it now, I’m sure it seems irrelevant to most. I’m completely aware of that. But instead of using my heart I’m using the intellectual approach.”
Back in March, Brit Brit recently announced that she’s back on Instagram after a brief hiatus. She also announced that she is expecting her third child with her current beau, Sam Asghari.
However, it’s her online activity that seems to have a lot of people raising their eyebrows, especially when it comes to the questionable things she’s been posting on Instagram. Some comments from fans have included, “I wish Britney could develop a social circle.
She desperately needs one and it would make her happier and more anchored. But her fame ruins everything–she can’t socialize normally, she can’t join a support group for her condition without risking having her trust and her medical privacy violated,” along with, “Her ig account is just sad. She’s definitely unwell, it’s upsetting to watch her. I hope she can heal.
I just checked it (normally I don’t) and jeez. I saw she wants another kid, but I don’t think she’s mentally ready for it. And frankly, her photos are creepy for me somehow. Also, someone should tell her that IT IS OKAY if you don’t post everything.”
Another fan put it this way, “She’s never going to be well, with that long con, grifter husband/boyfriend/adviser at her side. I hope her money is protected from him, and yes I read here he has a part in a movie. We’ll see. She needs to NOT get pregnant, or Sam is going to take that kid and sue for child support. I was going to say Kfed the situation, but at least he gave them a stable home when she never could. She needs meds and therapy, and to be offline for a while.”
