‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) has finally gotten help. He attended his first therapy session today and already we saw a lot of doubt and questions in his face, particularly about Dominic and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
While he spoke about what happened to him in Spain, his relationship with Abby, and how he doesn’t quite feel connected to Dominic as he should, when he spoke about the situation with Devon, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), there seemed to be a few moments where he realized how ridiculous everything was right now.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) Goes To Therapy – Will This Make Him Realize He Doesn’t Want Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) In His Child’s Life?
Since the beginning, viewers have called out how Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) started a family without Chance there and all the complications that would arise. We saw Mariah have an obsession with Dominic for a while, and even Devon began getting so clingy that he was bringing lawyers into it.
Chance arrived back in the middle of it and felt like Devon having shared custody was alright so he could work on himself and get back to normal. However, when he does get back to feeling like himself and forming a connection with his son, will he still want Devon in their lives as much as he is now, and how would he be able to cut off that tie?
Giving Devon an inch was a mistake in itself, and we’ve witnessed how far that went. Now, if Chance starts feeling better and realizes the effect Devon is having on Dominic and wants him out of the way, things are going to get nasty. Is this the way it’s going to stay for their odd family, or will we see Devon pushed out?
