‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that it looks as though they just confirmed that no matter how much he wants to be, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) appears to not be the biological father of Dominic! This was explained in a way today when we found out about Dominic’s health status.

Dominic has a rare blood disease and is going to need a bone marrow transplant to get healthy. However, most of the time parents are only 50% compatible and siblings are typically matches. So while it’s possible that a parent would be a match, it is very improbable.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did They Just Confirm Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) To NOT Be Dominic’s Father?

Did they just confirm that because Devon is a match to Dominic, he is indeed not the father? In fact, this calls into the question that there could be some other kind of relation between the two… like siblings! Sure, this is an outlandish theory, but could be just the excitement that Y&R needs!

What’s stranger to me is that Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) didn’t get tested. I understand that people biologically related would be a better bet to be a match, but why not even try it? Luckily for Dominic, Devon ended up being a match so now is time for the transplant and potential chaos of the truth.

It definitely looks like this is confirmation that Devon is not the father, but that leaves us with a bigger question now… Who is the donor that gave Dominic life? Someone related to Devon or maybe even Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn (Sean Carrigan)?

What do you think? Did you expect this and is this confirmation that Devon is in fact, not the biological father? Let us know in the comments below.
