Talk about one very awkward video. Alec Baldwin couldn’t help but snap not once, but twice at his wife Hilaria Baldwin while they were talking to reporters while on the set of a road in Vermont.
Alec told the reporters that while he can’t answer any questions about the ongoing investigation into Halyna Hutchins’ death on the set of the movie “Rust,” he did talk about her anyway. Here’s what you need to know.
Alec Baldwin Snaps At Wife Hilaria Baldwin Twice While Speaking To Reporters
Hilaria, for some reason or another, thought it would be a good idea to film the entire ordeal as Alec explained that he and Halyna were very good friends. When Hilaria got a little too close to her husband with her camera phone, he snapped at her and said, “EXCUSE ME” to have her move away.
When Hilaria reminded one of the reporters that Halyna Hutchins did have a name, Alec stepped in again to tell her, “I’ll be answering the questions here.”
Halyna Hutchins, 42, died after she was shot by the actor and later died from her injuries at a nearby hospital. But this weekend Alec was spotted leaving a Sante Fe, New Mexico hotel with Halyna’s husband Matthew Hutchins and their son, Andros. This comes after reports said that Alec was “hysterical and absolutely inconsolable for hours” after he killed Haylna.
One source close to the situation told People, “This was pretty devastating,” adding that Baldwin plans on canceling all of his future projects. “This is how he handles difficult times. Whenever something bad happens, in the short term, he removes himself from [the] public eye,” the insider added, but only after Baldwin was spotted in a very public photo op with Halyna’s family.
