    Master P

Music mogul Master P has responded to Alec Baldwin’s prop gun incident that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

Music Mogul Master P Claims Alec Baldwin’s Prop Gun Incident Would Never Happen Under His Watch-‘I Grew Up In The Projects’

Percy Robert Miller, also known by his stage name Master P, for his part, is well aware of what is required to shoot a successful movie. He has funded numerous TV and film projects throughout his time. One of these films included his project, ‘I Got the Hook-Up 2.’

This is where Master P ended up forging a working relationship with Halyna, as she was a cinematographer who had been helping him. That is why this issue is something close to him.

And given that action-packed movies require guns, Master P spoke on the importance of self-responsibility. In an interview with TMZ, he said: “That’s why you gotta check everything that you doin’.

“Like, when I’m shooting these movies, it’s action-packed. I’m checking the guns myself.” The importance of being safe is something that Master P prides himself on. After all, he grew up in New Orleans amid gang violence.

As he came across guns at a young age, he knew what it took to maintain a safe working environment. He added: “That ain’t ever happened with us. We checking everything.

“I grew up in the projects. People have real guns, so we know what to look for. Hollywood actors don’t know what to look for.”

As the actions led to a life being lost, Master P was not shy in admitting who was responsible. Rather than showing any sympathy towards Alec, he felt that the actor could be held responsible along with the others.

In this way, the family of the deceased could at least have some redress. He continued: “Alec [should] probably be blamed, the producers should be blamed, everybody who had a part in that because a life has been lost.

“Nobody really checked. Ignorance is not exempt.” Master P has put his position out strongly, and it does hold people responsible. If that does end up happening, then there is a real chance that Alec’s movie career could severely be hampered.

And given what public opinion is like, this is a real possibility. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
