ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) got himself into one huge mess. Thanks to his stalking, Ava Jerome (Maura West) had him arrested. And now it looks like he might have ruined his one chance. Let’s take a look at what happened, and what might be.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The situation
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) plan backfired on her. She thought she was going to charm Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) into letting “Spence” off the hook. Boy, was she wrong. Mostly, though, we think it’s because Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) was there. While Nikolas definitely has his suspicions and made that clear to Esme, he was still about to give in. He clearly feels guilty about what Spencer’s about to endure and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) words probably got to him as well. He wants to be there for his son.
Unfortunately for Esme, he opted not to hurry to the PCPD to bail Spencer out. He ended up realizing it was the right thing later. Ava went to offer Spencer a deal as a test. If he took it, she’d see he’s got remorse and learned something from this trip downtown. If he didn’t? Well, he’s just gotta take more time to learn.
And that’s what ended up happening. Ava’s offer revealed that Spencer was still too resentful and angry to even think of trusting her. So, he’d rather stay in jail than do so. That made it clear to her and Nikolas that Spencer needs to stay where he is, hoping he’ll hit rock bottom and be ready to accept her deal the next day. We think there’s a chance he’ll take the deal, but not out of having learned something.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Aggressor or victim?
It’s been obvious that Esme is manipulating Spencer. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers hint she’s got some other agenda with Ava, and it seems to involve Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). She already talked Spencer into moving back into Wyndemere, as she wanted to live in fancy digs.
And she pointed out they’re both too high-maintenance to slum it in a motel. We think she’ll do the same now. She’ll likely convince him to go along with Ava’s deal. We believe she’ll point out it’s the only way out of this mess and it’s a way to keep one’s enemy close. There’s no way she’ll pass up the chance to use Spencer’s situation to their advantage.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kevin for the win
There’s just one obstacle. Kevin sees through her easily. He pointed out to Nikolas he’d already sounded alarms about Spencer’s new girlfriend. He doesn’t see any good coming from Esme and Spencer being together, so we’re hopeful Nikolas will take that to heart. We think the best case for Nikolas is for Spencer to stay stubborn. This will keep his interactions with Esme to a minimum, keep him from being able to do more damage himself, and save Nikolas from being the bad guy if he doesn’t let Esme stay with Spencer at Wyndemere.
