‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers reveal Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was in a bit of a tough spot to start off the week of September 6th. He was facing down the wrath of EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriege), who was ready to throw him back behind bars over missing money. But did something else just give Xander an out? And what does this mean for DiMera? Let’s take a look.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The problem
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate EJ and Xander had a deal. Xnader coughs up the money Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) paid for the anniversary party fiasco, Xander gets his freedom and job at Basic Black back in return. Xander—wisely, in out opinion—demanded all EJ’s obligations be met before handing over the briefcase. Which, EJ did.
However, here’s the problem. When EJ took the briefcase, he found out the money wasn’t there. EJ returned and practically knocked Xander’s door down to get what’s his. Xander, having no idea Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) took the cash, pleaded his innocence. And ignorance as to how the money went missing. EJ wasn’t buying it. He stormed off, promising to get the charges re-instated.

The thing is, EJ might have a problem there. See, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) couldn’t stand the hit piece Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) wrote about Xander. So, she confessed Xander wasn’t the one passing around drugs in Salem. She was. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Gwen confessed the not-so-good doctor had something on her. While she didn’t get a chance to explain what she was being blackmailed with, she already said more than enough to prove Xander’s innocence. And him not being the slime everyone believes him to be.
So, given all that, Xander might be sitting pretty once he catches up with Bonnie. With Gwen’s confession, EJ has no grounds to get those charges re-instated. And Xander is technically under no obligation to give the money back. After all, Sami gave it to him for a service, fair and square. What might this mean for DiMera?
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Troubles?
Fans are speculating about the DiMera situation, given EJ’s desperation to get that million dollars. And we agree it sounds like the company might be in trouble. This isn’t just about the million—or EJ’s somewhat iffy explanation. He also took back that ten million dollars previously, knowing that Sami could possibly be killed once the transaction’s reversal was discovered. And there’s one other thing.
He seemed pretty desperate to “right the ship” of DiMera and went on about not wasting money on his son’s film dreams. Not only that, he cut off Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) cards, claiming it was due to his “over spending.” Honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised if both DiMera and Titan are on the verge of collapse.
Both have been plagued by plenty of scandals in the past couple of years. Plus, the constant CEO changes. That would make any company vulnerable, and they should be no exception. Is the million that crucial to DiMera’s future? We think we’re about to find out, because Xander likely would be happy to keep that cash now that he’s not under threat.
