The Bachelor spoilers find that Chris Lambton and Peyton Lambton’s relationship has survived the test of time, but not many couples do so, following the show.
‘The Bachelor’: Chris Lambton and Peyton Lambton Discuss The Reasons For Their Successful Marriage
The duo, for their part, have been married for a period of nine years. While they did appear on the show, it was not in the same season. Chris appeared on season 6 of The Bachelorette, in comparison to Peyton, who appeared on season 10 of The Bachelor. But they struck up a friendship that turned into a romance after being introduced through a mutual friend.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Peyton revealed how the experience of the show made things easier. “We didn’t meet on the show. It was a bit more organic how we met. The fact that we were on the show was secondary,” to which Chris responded: “It helped that we were both on the show because then we had that commonality, and we didn’t have to like quiz each other on ‘What was the show like?”
And the results were there for all to see. During their marriage together, they managed to raise two children: Lyla and Hayes. Although they lead very busy lives, given the business ventures that they both have, the fact that they respect each other’s boundaries has made things easier.
And the main thing which has aided the couple has been to talk their problems out. Chris added: “Communication and laughter. I make her laugh on a daily basis. That’s my goal. Even if she’s mad at me, I try to just tickle her or make her laugh, and it makes everything easier and better.” Moreover, Peyton also believes that the absence of social media during their time on the show helped their relationship.
She admitted that it could lead to many lucrative opportunities, but at the same time, it can attract negative criticism from people who ultimately know nothing about you.
She stated: “We’ve seen just how vicious people can be on social media, and unfortunately, I don’t see that stopping anytime soon.” It is wonderful to the couple being so happy in their lives, and long may that continue.
