‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that fan favorite, Bryan Datillo has portrayed Salem’s Lucas Horton since 1993, and has been a father (in real life) since 1999 to son Gabriel. But it is his 7-year old daughter, Delila that he began gushing about to Soap Opera Digest.
Bryan claim little Delila was “born to be an actress” and can memorize lines from commercials or movies in seconds flat. “When I started out in the business it took me about three years to learn how to memorize lines but she picks things up without a problem,” he raved.

He also believes her “great smile, soulful eyes, pretty hair and wonderful sense of humor” would make her a star.
So, will fans ever see Delila in Salem with her proud dad? Bryan says- why not?
“She’d be great on Days,” he agreed. “She even does an English accent so she could play the daughter or niece of Gwen Rizczech and Xander Cook.” Bryan went onto to say that, being that Delila’s maternal grandmother is from Ethiopia, Delila could “play into the show’s diversity.”
Until we see Bryan’s youngest in Salem, she does have an agent and she is a working kid star. She has booked three national commercials, including one for Amazon.
Bryan declares that she loves auditioning and “she’s okay if she doesn’t get the part. We try to teach her that it’s as much about the experience as it is about whether or not you get the job.”
Obviously Bryan is super proud of his rising superstar, and the admiration goes both ways. Recently Delila saw her daddy on the cover of the Soap Opera Digest magazine and instantly told her mother Elizabeth, “We have to buy this so I can show Dad!”
