“We would go upstairs and steal our audition tapes and then play them for each other in the dressing rooms and be like, ‘You suck! That’s the worst acting I’ve ever seen! I can’t believe they hired you after that!’

“I have never met someone who is so good at pace and so good at having a scene arc; her range is so vast,” he sang his co-star’s praises. “To feed off of her, it’s so easy to act because she gives you so much.”

Bryan has battled several learning disabilities; dyslexia, audio perception problems and ADD and Deborah would not only continue running lines with him, but imparted much wisdom and tricks of the trade to help him along.

When asked about the best part of his job, Bryan told the publication the biggest professional reward of being under contract with DOOL again knowing that he’s still ‘got it’.

“I feel like I’m getting back into my old, comfortable ways of handling the job. It’s a stressful job, and there’s a lot of pressure,” he said. “Being back made me realize that I haven’t really lost it like I thought I did.”
