‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that Precious Way has wrapped up her short-lived tenure on the soap. Even though she only joined the cast a few months ago(as opposed to Deidre Hall who celebrated 45 years last week) It doesn’t mean saying goodbye was easy for the young actress.
This is Precious’ last week portraying the rich little girl with the ‘tude so though she will still be seen on our screens for a few more days yet, watching her last week air on NBC has hit Precious way in the feels.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Precious Way (Chanel Dupree) Gets Emotional As She Says Goodbye to Salem This Week
On her Instagram page, Precious posted several throwback photos of her time on set- screen gabs, posing with her co-stars , and a cute photo of her jumping up and down with excitement after receiving her Days of Our Lives script.
She captioned the series of photos with: “I was going to wait to post this but I’m emotional today. I’m really going to miss you all & this entire experience.
Chanel was my very first tv role. I was scared excited nervous & unbelievably grateful all at the same time. I gained so much respect for everyone I had the absolute pleasure of working with on this show thank you all for being so welcoming & teaching me so much! It was such a pleasure.”
Precious, who has been off the Salem set since April has been cast alongside rapper MC Lyte in a new sitcom- Partners in Rhyme. Her Insta shows photos of her new castmates also, and that season one has already wrapped.
The character of Chanel isn’t going anywhere (much to some fans’ chagrin). Raven Bowens will be stepping into the role as of next week. Maybe it will be like when they recast Claire Brady- once they exchanged Olivia Rose Keegan for Isabel Durant, the character’s personality changed as much as her face!
