NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) has been shaking up Salem and making enemies. Personally, we are loving her. However, we kind of feel sorry for one person in her path right now. Let’s take a look at Chanel’s desperation and where it might lead someone.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Enough
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we talked a bit about her intro to Salem. We ended up learning that she’s Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) daughter. Her spoiled, entitled daughter who also has a definitely con artist within.
We are curious to learn more about her and her parentage later. Because while Paulina can put her foot in her mouth at times and she’s not above trying to use her connection to Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to get a project going, we don’t see her openly taking advantage of people.
And she definitely doesn’t have that same predatory vibe about her that Chanel does. It seems people in Salem are already taking notice, even if Paulina can’t quite see what a monster she’s created.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Making enemies
Her first enemies in Salem were Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). When Chanel tried to make them pay for her booze, Claire immediately called her out for what she is. And you know she’s not going to be making nice with her anytime soon.
Then there is Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). He turned out to be her ex, and was understandably wary of her. Apparently, he knows her better than mom. Especially when Chanel was practically begging to live with him.
Hearing Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) confirm her cut-odd status confirmed his suspicions. So, yet another potential meal ticket disappeared. But she has a new victim in mind, and we aren’t sure how to feel about this.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Blood in the water
That would be Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). The pair happened upon each other while Xander was completely plastered, drowning his sorrows over Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). At first, she seemed genuinely concerned about him. That bit of humanity was short lived.
After Xander and Chanel got back to his room, he left her alone a minute. That’s when she saw Xander’s Titan CEO badge. You seriously could see her drooling over the prospect of conning some miserable rich guy into funding her lifestyle.
We don’t really see her as doing her research to learn Xander quit, so this is going to be a fun moment when she realizes she’s once more looking for money in the wrong people.
That’s inevitable. However, again, we don’t see her checking into anything, so she’ll be working him for at least a little while. And he’s her perfect target. This guy is lost in grief over Sarah leaving him and pretty much always drunk right now.
So, we see that vulnerable side working against him. But oh how glorious it’ll be when he finally gets it together enough to realize her real game.
We don’t know who Chanel should be more afraid of—him, or mom. You know Paulina will lose it on her if she finds out about all these other scams she’s running. Settle in for a lot of chaos.
