‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that as many fans know, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is someone who has managed to pop up in Port Charles time and time again throughout the years. And while he’s not someone who you see very often, he is a very important character on General Hospital. Here’s everything that you need to know about Brick.

Even though many daytime television fans know him because of his role on General Hospital, Stephen A. Smith is actually a television and sports personality, radio host, journalist and of course, actor. He is a commentator on ESPN First Take, where he appears with Max Kellerman and Molly Qerim. He also makes frequent appearances as an NBA analyst on SportsCenter. That, of course, is when he’s not filming his scenes for the hit ABC daytime television soap!
Brick was first introduced to fans on General Hospital back in 2015 thanks to Stephen’s good friend, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos). It was Maurice who not only managed to convince Stephen to try out for the role, but also helped him clinch it with the show’s producers, too! Brick is basically Sonny’s right hand man, as he works as a surveillance expert for the mob.

Stephen told ABC Soaps in Depth that he couldn’t help but feel nervous the first time he appeared on General Hospital, even though he’s long been a fan of the show.
“Since I have watched the show for so long, I know Sonny and his mannerisms,” Smith confided. “So the scene was like talking to a long-lost friend. I knew him and how he goes about things. I imagined all that and it helped relax me.” The last time fans saw Brick in action was back in February when he returned to help Sonny track down Dante Falconceri (Dom Zamprogna). Seeing how Sonny will soon be looking for Dante again, we have a feeling that we will be seeing Brick real soon!
