‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers for Friday, July 12th finds that Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) keeping the faith even as his world is falling apart, another moment where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is his own worst enemy, a surprise for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), an over-eager Dev (Ashton Arbab), and a shocking ending as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) arrive to see Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). If you missed it, let’s get to some highlights in your General Hospital recap.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Not so fast
Now that Dev is officially in the Corinthos clan, he wants to work with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Sonny, however, has other ideas. He wants Dev to go to school and work at the Metro Court. Dev does what teens do, which is to say he’s a pushy kid. Sonny isn’t having it. He warns Dev that if he wants Sonny’s trust, or to have a prayer of being involved in anything Sonny’s doing, he needs to prove he can be trusted by doing what Sonny says.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael ruins chances of getting son back; encourages Lucas to destroy the DNA test after Shiloh’s arrested
Dev eventually agrees to go to school and all, but we’re suddenly wondering if Dev has some bad intentions…
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Surprise
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has put Nina on notice. He informs her “a source” says that her new boss (Jasper Jacks, played by Ingo Rademacher) has files on both him and Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck).
Nina points out that him having a file on Valentin wouldn’t be that out there, but when she learns of the Cassandra thing, she’s suddenly wary. She doesn’t know what he’d be doing that for, and worries about how he might have info on their past.
Eventually, she gets Valentin to admit what she figured out right away: Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is the source.
She barely has a moment to deal with this all when Jax arrives with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Apparently, she is going to be Crimson’s new CFO.
General Hospital spoilers: Time’s up
With all the info Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) managed to dig up, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) have enough to head over to GH and haul Shiloh in. Sam asks to come, and Mac allows it, reasoning it’s not like he’s going to be sticking around in the job anyway. Ha! See, this is why he is awesome.
At GH, Shiloh is gloating over the DNA test in his hand with Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) has enough. He knocks Shiloh down. Shiloh, when the authorities arrive, try to get Lucas hauled in. Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) and Curtis, who witnessed that, pretend they saw nothing and Shiloh is officially arrested of various charges pending more after they dig into the murder thing.
At the PCPD, he’s not worried, though. He has faith that he will come through this challenge.
After Shiloh’s hauled away, Lucas is still freaking out about the DNA test when Michael arrives. Proving he is still his own worst enemy, he advises Lucas to take the left-behind test results and destroy them. Lucas objects at first. After Michael assures Lucas the test means nothing without a judge’s order, does just that. He’d also argued there’s no way to prove he actually used something of Wiley’s to do the test. The bottom line? Michael has once again prevented himself from getting proof that Wiley’s his.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Shock ending
Maxie and Peter aren’t very well received at the WSB location Dante’s being held at. Actually, the man who greets them is furious. Thanks to their constant asking and pushing for this visit, they’re going to have to move Dante after.
He tells them they need to wait while he verifies their I.D. and all that, but returns with bad news. Apparently, Dante doesn’t want to see them. What’s more, he doesn’t care that it’s Lulu Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) best friend coming to see him, nor does he care that Lulu is worried.
This all throws Maxie and she eventually forces her way into a room. A gunshot goes off, and she’s looking shocked as she cries out to Dante.
