British Royal Family News: Angry Prince William Responds To Prince Harry’s Racism Allegations
As many royal fans know by now, Harry and Meghan’s comments have rocked the royal family and touched off conversations around the world about racism, mental health and even the relationship between Britain and its former colonies.
In their interview, Prince Harry said his father stripped him and his family from their royal protection and cut him off financially early last year. In addition, Harry and Meghan also suggested there were some serious concerns over how dark their son Archie’s skin would be by a senior member of the royal family.
Buckingham Palace has responded, but in very few words. The palace released a statement this week that said they will investigate the racism allegations privately as a family.
“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” said a statement from the Palace provided to Fox News on Tuesday.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members,” the statement concluded.
