General Hospital spoilers: Rising tensions
Following the incident at Oscar’s meadow, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is still angry with Dev (Ashton Arbab). When Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) asks the pair to make something for the Fourth of July party, things get worse. Joss is testy with him, and complains that he’s not peeling the carrots right, as Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) is a real stickler for how she likes them. She also objects to how much of the stuff he’s eating, as these are supposed to be for Avery and Carly.
This leads to a fight about his comments regarding Oscar, and his so-called patriotic stance by freely expressing his belief that Oscar is just gone.Eventually, Carly overhears the argument and steps in, asking Dev to help with something else while she and Joss finish up the snacks. Once the pair is alone, Joss wants to know what’s going to happen with him. She can tell he’s not here legally, and is concerned about what this all means. Carly assures her that Sonny is handling it.
General Hospital spoilers: Let’s make a deal
Speaking of Sonny, he meets with Gladys to discuss a plan. What he wants to do is have her claim Dev as her grandchild.
Gladys is hostile at first, wanting to know what he’d want to see her about her son for. She hasn’t heard from Mike Corbin (Max Gail) or anyone in the family in a while. Sonny explains his dad’s health issues, and what he wants her to do. She’s reluctant, as that’s perjury. Sonny offers her a big sum of money, but she thinks she’s going to need more to put her butt on the line. Sonny agrees and hands over some extra cash for her trouble. He promises more every six months.
She, by the way, had called him a mobster during their talk. He adds in alleged, but after the deal is made, he tells her that she obviously knows what happens to people who double cross him. She did her homework, after all.
General Hospital spoilers: Crossing the line
Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) isn’t sure what to think about Scott’s sudden proposal. Well, except that he might be in need of professional help. Scott doesn’t help his case at all. While trying to talk her into the proposal, he compares her to an old, comfortable shoe. We’re seriously head desking right now. Bobbie has a similar reaction and tells him that in none of his reasoning has he mentioned the most important part: love. Scott apologizes, realizing that he’s been out of line, and Bobbie accepts. She also offers to have a meal with him, because she can see he’s struggling. He declines, as he doesn’t want a pity dinner.
Later on, the pair crosses paths again and Scott takes the chance to apologize once more. The pair eventually decide to be each other’s date for Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) reception.
Speaking of reception dates, it seems that Cameron and Joss are going together as well. Hmm. Might we see a little teen drama coming up, now that Dev is living in the Corinthos house?
General Hospital spoilers: Laura to the rescue
Speaking of the recently-married couple, they’re still dealing with Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) hostility toward Franco. Lucky for them, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is there.
She and Cameron leave the couple to order some food and Laura asks about the situation at home. Their conversation makes her realize that Cameron’s issues aren’t really about Franco and his past. It’s about the father figures who have come and gone already from his life.
