While Queen Elizabeth has made no indication that she is ready to step down just yet, there is some speculation that Prince Charles is embarking on his final chapter of his Kingship and that the future of the monarchy might be in peril.

That’s because there seems to be less interest in the royal family these days and especially after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to pull the plug on their working relationship with the monarchy.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have proven to the world that they can certainly be more financially-independent with their multi-million dollar deals and still do the same things that the rest of the royals are doing back in London.
With that said, according to HeirPod hosts and royal commentators Omid Scobie and Maggie Rulli, Prince Charles still has a lot of work ahead of him.
That’s because he will be ascending the throne, after an impressive stint as an environmentalist with the ‘Earth Charter’ project. “This is really a huge step for Charles, and what he considers to be really part of the final chapter of his legacy as an environmentalist.
“This journey began in the 70s and here we are in 2021, really starting out big,” Scobie said.
“To think about nature and the environment having rights and being taken seriously. I thought that was a great way to think about things, something we don’t always think about,” Rulli agreed.
“It’s more than just something that’s nice, it’s a right that nature actually has. I never thought of it that way before,” she added.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
