’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers reveal that Jenny and Sumit fans can breathe a sigh of relief because as of the most recent airing of 90 day fiancé the other way, Sumit’s divorce is final. He has paid the remaining $10K to his now ex-wife and her family and he can now get on with his life and marry the person that he wanted to marry to begin with, Jenny.
Jenny cheered when she found out the news, of course she would. It started off a quiet cheer at first but then she was so happy that she whooped and hollered for joy, you couldn’t help but smile at Jenny’s reaction, this is what she’s wanted for ages, this is the reason that she moved to India and she’s finally getting her wish.

Although, it makes me wonder if Sumit’s former in-laws might try to show up at the new wedding and stir the pot, as it were.
He said when the divorce case first got started they showed up at his house crying and wailing saying that he was trying to steal their money and ‘beat them’, no word on whether he broke the heart of their daughter or not (although I’m sure that factored into it to some degree) they were just mostly concerned about their money. No wonder they dropped the case as soon as he paid the money, they weren’t really interested in anything else.
It kind of makes me wonder about Sumit’s ex, if she ever really did love him or if she ever really knew him at all. Sometimes in these arranged marriages, people don’t really know one another so maybe she wasn’t all that plussed when he asked for a divorce, she was just worried about getting Daddy’s downpayment of a dowry back.
The question is, was Sumit even intimate with his wife? Could they have gone for an annullment instead? In the United States if a marriage has not been consummated it can be annulled, according to law. But they haven’t said anything so we’ll assume that Sumit and his wife were a normal couple, as far as that goes.
Sumit’s wife has not said a word, but then, culturally, can she? I’m not sure how indian female divorcees handle the single life after being married. They seem to be the ‘stand by your man’ type so, let’s hope for her sake that she can move on, because Sumit has.
There’s no question about that. Either way, now we’ll maybe get to see Sumit and Jenny’s wedding… maybe. Stay tuned!!!
