’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal that Yara Zaya, fiance to Jovi Dufren, just laid down the law to Jovi’s Mom and said that since her own family can’t come for the wedding that she doesn’t want a big wedding affair and she would rather just her and Jovi go to Vegas and get the deed done rather than have a full-on wedding where only one side of the family, Jovi’s side, can attend. Honestly, I don’t blame Yara.
Yara says that her Mom will feel left out if she has a big wedding celebration that she can’t attend, and that would stand to reason. All Mothers want to see their little girls’ get married on their wedding day, and if she can’t see Yara get married then why favor one side of the family over the other?

Also, just because they go and get married and get everything legally done right now doesn’t mean that they can’t have another wedding celebration at a later date. Look at other 90 day couples.
Andrei and Elizabeth Castravet, for one, they already had an American wedding and then went back over to Moldova to have a Moldavian wedding as well. Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee had two korean weddings, one was a traditional Korean wedding and the other was a more Americanized (though, decidedly more drive-thru) wedding where her American family got to attend
. (Although we all know how that particular relationship ended so maybe that’s not the best example.) Also, there are examples of couples who have yet to have their big wedding ceremonies – Michael and Angela for instance have still not had their big American wedding even though they had a big Nigerian wedding.
Jovi and Yara could easily just have a second ceremony or a vow renewal later so that both sides of the family could see them get married and that would be an excellent compromise to the whole deal, but we’ll see how Jovi’s Mom reacts to that suggestion as time goes on.
I have no doubt someone is going to suggest that, but she may or may not be open to the idea. She said she would definitely get her feelings hurt if Jovi decided not to include her in wedding plans, while I can definitely see that, a wedding ceremony can always be held at a later date.
Right now, let the kids get legally done! She thinks Yara is being selfish, but ultimately… it’s Yara and Jovi’s decision, not hers. Stay tuned!!!
