‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ find that fans are beginning to smell a rat in Big Mike’s home- and it’s NOT the new pet Mike and wife, Natalie Mordovtseva just adopted.
The Sunday, June 20 episode of Happily Ever After? shows Mike and Natalie, fresh off their visit to see Mike’s gaslighting partner-in-crime, mom Trish.
Though the newlyweds are still very obviously harboring simmering resentment toward each other, instead of talking about the seriously horrible trip, the two have put a Band-aid over it by adopting a pet rat.
‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’: Fans Smell a Rat in Mike Youngquist’s Home
However, it wasn’t the rat crawling all over the dinner table and their bodies that had eagle-eyed fans jumping to disparage the increasingly unlikable Mike, but his decorative flair. Nope, it’s not a million ceramic pigs a la Trish, but some sort of knickknack proudly sporting the Confederate flag.
Usually blurred out, the editors dropped the ball in one scene and a bookshelf in the background was on clear display- as was Mike’s racist style.
Though Mike now lives in America’s Northwest, not an area known to fly the Confederate flag, commenters have not been kind and all agree they are not surprised by what they call ‘proof of Mike having a racist mindset’.
Mike and Natalie are on the road to being in the top 5 of 90 Day Fiancé’s Most Hated Couples with their clear disdain for each other and absolutely appalling communication skills. Oh, and their really off-putting personalities don’t help. Now fans of the TLC series have just found yet another nail for Mike’s “we never want to see you on our screens again” coffin.
Alas, we are stuck with both of them for now as ‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ season six continues on TLC, Sundays at 8pm ET.
