90-Day Fiancé Corey Rathgeber traveled to the United States not long after his wife Evelin expressed disagreements over having children. The couple were infamous for their terrible communication and trust issues during their time on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s season 3.
Despite their disagreements and Corey’s controversial fling with a girl named Jenny, the two married anyway. They seemed to have done well opening several restaurants and even a new resort in Ecuador.
However, Corey’s timing on his recent trip to the United States gives a short glimpse into what could really be happening between the two behind closed doors.
Corey’s Quick Trip to the States
Corey made a post about how he is currently in the United States. He is visiting and hanging out with his cousins stating, “I’m in USA. I took a quick trip to visit my cousins. It’s my first time in Georgia & my first time Waffle House.”
While it’s nice to see Corey hanging out with his family again, the timing makes this trip a little odd. Evelin had previously refused to have children with Corey stating that she isn’t ready yet.
Could this disagreement result in a “quick trip” like this? While other posts on Corey and Evelin’s social media make them look like a super happy couple, things may not be as bright for them as they seem.
Corey and Evelin have taken breaks in their relationship before and this trip could be a sign of another. However, we all know how bad breaks tend to end up for them with Jenny being a major example.
After a huge fight that led Evelin to kick Corey out of their house in the past, Corey would go on to cheat on her with a girl named Jenny from Peru. If this trip is indeed a break, then we better keep a look out for any upcoming drama just in case.
Are Corey & Evelin Actually Happy?
Despite the relationship break possibility, it could be just as plausible for the couple to actually be happy. At first, it does seem suspicious how Evelin isn’t visiting Corey’s family alongside him. They are married after all!
The couple though are still trying to work out Evelin’s visa as they do plan to one day move to the United States. Evelin has also overstayed in the US with her tourist visa before which may prevent her from visiting right now.
While the couple have shown lots and lots of red flags in the past primarily before they got married, the two do look to be a lot happier now compared to before. They had managed to run several businesses before their new resort, so perhaps their communication skills were forced to improve to make sure their restaurants survived as long as they did.
Their relationship does look to have done the impossible when many fans thought that their marriage would’ve ended in disaster like so many other 90-Day couples. However, pretty and happy pictures never tell the entire story.
