How Are 90 Day Fiancé’s Corey Rathgeber & Evelin Villegas Financing Their New “Family of Four?”
After revealing their family of four with two new fur babies in the picture, Corey and Evelin seem to have started a new business venture in their lives. While it’s not just the beachside bar that Evelin had always stated as her dream while on the show, there is a lot more to promise in this business than you may think.
After the couple moved to Engabao Ecuador and now continue to wait for Evelin’s United States visa to be approved, the couple revealed on Instagram that they have opened a new hotel for their fans to visit.
This included another post answering a fan’s curiosity as to what the hotel has to offer. From included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to full-on cocktail classes by Evelin herself, there is a lot of promise to be seen in this venture. Speaking of cocktails, the hotel also includes the beachside bar that Evelin always wanted.
What Happened to Their Old Businesses?
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first business that the couple has opened and ran before. For example, the couple used to have a relatively popular beach shack called Cocteles Del Paraiso not long after their time on the show. Some other 90 Day Fiancé stars have actually visited the place such as Ariela Danielle and Laura Jallali.
Evelin’s family also owned a family restaurant for almost 300 years on top of the couple’s bar, so all seemed to be going well until 2021. According to Corey, the reason for the closure of both Cocteles Del Paraiso and the family restaurant was the work of a “jealous woman” who destroyed the business.
Some fans theorized that the bar’s closing was due to it being built on someone else’s property, but this has not been confirmed or addressed by the couple.
How’s Evelin’s US Visa Process Going?
The couple has managed to open their new resort as well as help Evelin’s family open a new restaurant called Casa del Cacique, but what does this mean for Evelin’s United States visa? What will happen after she gets it and is finally able to move?
The couple has been waiting for the visa for the past three years now. Despite being together for about 15 years with ten of them spent being married, it’s unknown as to why the process is taking as long as it is. Either way, however, Evelin will have to make a very big and life-changing decision when the time comes.
Evelin did not really enjoy her time in the United States as shown during season one of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Not only did she have a hard time fitting in with Corey’s family, but also felt very overwhelmed being in the United States in general.
That being said, maybe the couple will give it another shot while running their new resort from afar in the US. Only time will tell if visa plans change in the near future.
