Yazan was incredibly excited to see Brittany and he is ready to start his life with her. He told cameras at the airport, “I am very excited that Brittany is coming here. And I really can’t wait to be with her, have her in my arms. But she will have to accept our living condition and adapt to us and change in a way she’d be able to live with me here in this country.” He brought her some roses and they embraced and they were ready to go and live life together.

Brittany had to get her mic on and when she saw the camera crew, she gave them hugs. This is not a good sign in Jordan for a woman to do though. This was this first red flag of many for Yazan. When they got in the car, Yazan saw a bottle of alcohol in her bag too. He asked, “Hey, what’s this here? What’s this?” She said, “Nothing, don’t worry about it.” He said, “That’s just not good but f**k you.” She asked him, “Why are you acting crazy?” Then he yelled at her and went to his car. This is not a good way to start off her move to Jordan.
A producer was able to chat with Yazan. He asked him what was going on and Yazan said, “I am so stupid. I said before she came here, you cannot drink here and you cannot talk for people and hug people.” Brittany is just hanging out in the parking lot and she said, “That was a nice welcome. I’ve never seen him act like that and that was kinda scary to me. I just did so much and already have given up so much to come to be with him, so for him to be acting like this… I’m not proud of his behavior at all. I’m actually very disappointed by his behavior. It’s not like alcohol is not accepted here. Of course, I respect his culture and his choices, but at the same time, I am not Muslim. Seeing this behavior makes me second guess moving here. It reminded me of the way my ex behaves and so if he’s going to behave like my ex, then I don’t want anything to do with him.”
