The couple has talked about buying a house together, but she doesn’t feel secure about her financial situation. That is part of the reason that she decided to go back to work.
She has been picking up shifts here and there, but now it looks as if she has blown through her savings, and with things changing with her daughter, she may need to show the court that she does have a good job. The job is at the restaurant as a manager and Ed isn’t very happy about it. He doesn’t like the lifestyle that comes with working in a restaurant, but Liz knows that she needs the money.
’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ Spoilers: The Work Argument
Liz is ready to start making more money again and working at a restaurant is hard work and means long hours. She has been offered the managing partner role and this is great news for her paychecks! Ed asks her if she has to stay in San Diego to run the restaurant.
’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ Spoilers: Elizabeth Woods Goes Back To Work, But Ed Brown Refuses To Allow Her To Work Late Hours
She tells him that she does. He tells her, “You just kind of dropped something on me that’s pretty big.” He then tells the cameras, “One day she’s like ‘we’re moving’ and the next day, ‘oh, no, I got offered a partnership.’ It does sort of feel like she’s choosing her career over us. I think it’s very selfish.”
Ed tells Liz, “I don’t want you working 80 hours a week. That’s what a partner does. It’s a very big commitment, and I want a wife.” She tells the cameras, “I know Ed is nervous about me working full time because the long hours were a problem with Ed and I when we first started dating. It is important to show him that- me going back to work- there’s nothing to worry about.” Ed doesn’t like that she works nights, but she can’t just tell them that she only wants to work during the day. That’s not at all how it works.
We will have to keep an eye on these two to see what happens next on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. It airs on Sundays on TLC.
