Jibri Bell and Miona Bell appeared on the previous season of 90 Day Fiancé. As much as they were loved, they were also hated by viewers all over the world. They have received so much backlash for being clout chasers and for faking their storyline. Fans always thought that they were married before they starred in the show.
When they both appeared, their Instagram accounts both used the surname ‘Bell’, and this led fans to believe that they had faked it all. Their storyline also centered around Jibri’s friendship with his bandmates and how Miona did not get along with them. Miona has also been accused of blackfishing and she and Jibri have been fighting off haters since day one. Now Jibri is sharing more of his thoughts about how the show made them look.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Jibri’s Rant
Jibri shared a video on his Instagram account that really shared his point. He captioned it;
“Moral of the story boys and girls… this “famous” lifestyle that is glamorized and sold to you is far from what happiness consists of. I have always loved the idea of seeing my name is bright shining lights since I was 5 years old… Fame is not a sin but the business that surrounds it can be quite lifeless and inhumane to say the least… I’ve had many friends who have committed suicide or been hospitalized thinking that they would be complete once they garnish the approval of their peers, walk the red carpet, and give their acceptance speech. 9 times out of 10 the fame only adds salt to the wound and leaves them even more lonely and damaged then they originally where… and now they have no one who can relate and understand. The unfortunate reality is when your art is monetized, sold and packaged it usually leaves the artist or creator feeling out of touch and completely lost. The blue check mark, the news articles, the awards… all mean absolutely nothing if you don’t have a strong grasp on who you are and what you represent… the pressure and hate that comes with the attention can crush the brightest of souls… I now understand why most childhood stars resort to Drugs and Alcohol to stay afloat… I now understand why Kanye West, Dave Chapelle, Michael Jackson, Prince… and 1000’s of other artists AKA “content creators” have warned us about signing contracts with companies and cooperations who don’t have our best interest and will stop at nothing in order to squeeze and manipulate any emotion they can out of us for economic gain.”
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Jibri Bell Accuses TLC of Faking His Storyline and Apologizes to Miona Bell On Their Behalf
He went on, “Mom I’m sorry for getting you and the family involved in this I hope you can forgive me… Miona I’m sorry you were hurt in the process I should have listened to you. I have a ton of healing to do and I will continue to spread as much positivity and enlightenment into the world. For anyone chasing fame… please be careful you might fight so hard to be seen just to realize you already had it all.”
His followers were quick to reply to this video. One wrote, “That was terrible, but stop chasing clout and get a real job.” One questioned the fact that the 90 Day franchise is not ‘Hollywood’ the way that he thinks it is. One more added, “Pretty sure the bottom line is you wanted fame and sold your sold to the devil and now you’re paying the price. You’re not that great of a rapper. Miona has carried you from day one and your greed got you where you are right now.”
