’90 Day Fiancé’ alum Geoffrey Paschel is facing some serious jail time after being found guilty on charges of domestic assault, aggravated kidnapping, interference with an emergency call and vandalism. The 44-year-old is now incarcerated in Knox County Jail until his sentencing hearing, scheduled for December 3, 2021. It has been said Geoffrey could get upward of a 20 year prison sentence!
As 90 day fans know, this isn’t the first time in prison for Jailbird Geoffrey. Back in 1999-2000, he was jailed for just shy of a year for his involvement with illegal substances.
Yet it turns out Geoffrey is NOT the black sheep of the Paschel family. Since Geoffrey put himself into the public eye while he had such serious charges pending against him, it’s only natural 90 Day fans would look into his past, and his family’s. And the results are shocking!
‘90 Day Fiancé: Geoffrey Paschel’s Father And Brother Also Have Shocking Criminal Histories!
He may have thought it would have gone away by now, seeing as it happened back in 2008, but no such luck for Geoffrey’s father, Bobby Dean Paschel. Bobby Dean was arrested in October 2008 for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor. The Tennessee sex offender registry revealed that the now 67-year-old’s “rape of a child” happened in January of 2007. Bobby Dean was already in his 50’s when he sexually battered his minor victim.
Before you think “Welp, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”, change that to apples.
Geoffrey’s brother, Nicholas Paschel was arrested in connection to a bank robbery in Florida in January 2017.
It was reported that Nicholas wore a motorcycle helmet when walking into the Compass Bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over a bag of money and the 33 year old took off on his motor bike.
But he got caught.
According to jail records, Nicholas was booked on one count of robbery without a firearm on a $100,000 bond.
Interestingly, the news reports said the robbery took place in his town of Pensacola, Florida. Varya Malina, Geoffrey’s maybe fiancé has been living in Pensacola for the last 10 months. This could be coincidence, or Varya could have been rooming with Nicholas…or house sitting while he is in alternate accommodations?
It’s also important to note that the relationship between Geoffrey, Bobby Dean and Nicholas has not been corroborated by the Paschel family- but it is in pretty good authority that Geoffrey and Nicholas are the sons of Bobby Dean.
The 90 Day family is, of course, horrified by these discoveries and have one word for Varya…RUN!
