‘90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers show that Miona Bell is under fire for an old cosplay that she posted on her Instagram in October of 2019. In the post, she’s cosplaying at Chel from the 2000 animated film ‘Road to El Dorado’ (which is a great film), but the issue that people are finding is that she has completely darkened her skin, more so than the character herself.
The photo has recently come up again in some 90 Day circles and viewers are pretty concerned about it. Recently, Miona has also been accused of blackfishing, as she appears to be purposefully making her skin darker, though this cosplay is much stranger.

On the one hand, cosplaying as a character is fun and great, and even with the darkened skin, it’s just to further add to the character and stand out like them. It does seem a bit tricky, but at the end of the day when people see the photo, they see black face, and that is where the trouble begins for Miona.
Viewers commented on the cosplay saying, “The Blackfishing must end immediately”, “I’m confused, how is she so while on TV and this she looks darker than dark 😳”, “Since when is blackface okay”, “it’s not OK it’s wrong she needs to be taken off the show”, “This just seems so wrong TLC should not let her stay on the show this is offensive” and “Those bronzer stains on the bedsheets must be unreal looking like amber heard doo doo stains.”
To be honest though, the rest of her photos on Instagram look very similar. She clearly tans a very dark bronze and it can be confusing for people seeing her for the first time. You may not even realize that she’s from Serbia. So where’s the line? At what shade does it not become acceptable.
