‘General Hospital’(GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hoffer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have been inching toward reconciliation recently after a bad breakup.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Almost Killed Cyrus For Sonny
Joss ended their relationship after she found out that Dex almost killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) under Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) orders.
When Dex and Joss first got together, Dex was hired as a mole in Sonny’s mafia organization by Joss’s brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). They aimed to obtain tangible proof that Sonny was involved in illegal wheeling and dealings.
Once Michael and Dex had accomplished their goal, Michael tried to give Carly the flash drive containing evidence that he was moving shipments of illegal guns for Pikeman Security Group. He wanted her to roll on Sonny in an effort for her not to go to prison for insider trading.
Joss’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), promptly stomped on the flash drive, destroying it, and convinced him that their family would be safer with Sonny out of prison, not in.
That’s when Carly paid Dex to work for Sonny instead. From then on, Joss should have been aware that Dex would likely be involved in shady situations.
Dex and Sonny started to form a bond. However, that ended when Sonny learned that Dex was a traitor, and Michael initially hired Dex to take Sonny down.
Sonny almost killed Dex, but Carly showed up and talked Sonny out of it. Dex left town, but Joss brought him back, and it looked like they might have a happy ending.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Is A Changed Man
However, Joss was taken aback when she discovered what Dex almost did to Cyrus, who was helpless and in the hospital at the time Sonny ordered Dex to kill him.
Thankfully, Sonny changed his mind and stopped Dex just in the nick of time. But that didn’t stop Joss from breaking things off.
Joss dumping him shook Dex, and he confessed to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that he almost killed Cyrus because of Sonny. Anna empathized and was impressed by his honesty. She decided to hire Dex as a cop. Now, Dex is working for the PCPD as a police officer.
At first, Joss was totally against Dex joining the PCPD, but she’s starting to warm up to the idea. So much so that they recently had dinner together. They have been flirting and making goo-goo eyes at each other, but they still have some things to work out.
Dex and Joss still love each other and may have a second chance at happiness. He may soon feel confident enough to ask Joss to marry him.
Joss has seen Dex make changes to improve himself but isn’t quite sure if she wants to reunite with Dex. But you can bet the first person she’ll talk to besides Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) when Dex proposes is Carly.
Joss has some decisions to make. She needs to determine whether she wants to try again. But Dex is sure that his future is with Joss. The two of them made a beautiful couple. Perhaps Joss will take a leap of faith and decide to get back together with him and give Officer Heller a shot.
