‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) believes that nothing good will come out of Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) being a part of their lives.
Claire has a great relationship with her son, Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), but Summer believes it brought danger to her family. She is assuredly going to set firm boundaries where Claire is concerned.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Attacking the Newmans and Abbotts
Y&R’s Claire was stolen from her parents, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) when she was a baby. “Aunt Jordan” (Colleen Zenk) took her from the hospital as a way to get revenge on the Newmans.
She was angry about how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) treated her sister, Eve Howard (Margaret Mason).
Jordan told Claire that her parents did not want her, and she raised Claire with a healthy dose of hatred for her parents. She felt that they neglected her, and she was willing to help Jordan get her revenge.
Jordan tried to kill the Newmans, but when Claire realized that they thought she was dead, she betrayed her aunt to help them.
Jordan was able to escape authorities and she broke into the Abbott’s house. Claire was at their home, reading a book to Harrison in his room before bed. Kyle was downstairs and did not hear anything. Jordan used chloroform to capture Claire and Harrison.

Y&R’s Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) found his son and knows that Claire was not to blame for the situation. Aunt Jordan is evil, and she overcame Claire with chloroform. Claire was not colluding with Jordan to take Harrison. In fact, she is so very upset that Harrison became one of Jordan’s victims. She does blame herself for attracting Jordan to the Abbotts.
While Kyle is understanding with Claire and has no problem with her friendship with Harrison, Summer is not standing for it. She blames Claire, even though she is not the one who stole her son. She will try to stop any contact that her son has with Claire. Do you think she is going to be successful? Will she succeed in laying down the law with Kyle in regard to Claire?
