‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) still hasn’t grown up. While he says he is all about family, he is demonstrating again that he really should just go it alone. He never wants to play nice and brings chaos into the office. Maybe it is time for Devon to take whatever “his share” is and get out?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Family Troubles
When Y&R’s Devon and his sister Lily Winters (Christel Kahlil) were betrayed by their cousin, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), it seemed that they were bound together in their relationship and their desire to see the company make it through the challenges it faced.
When Nate betrayed them, they were in the process of working with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to take Chancellor-Winters public. As it was finishing up, Devon pitched a fit. He decided he did not want the company to go public and that he had always disagreed with the idea. He wanted his portion of the company back and threatened to sue to get it away from Jill and Lily.
The case went into mediation and things were terrible for Devon and Lily. Their relationship was broken because Devon wouldn’t bend and wanted things his way. It took a generous donation from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and intervention from Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to get the sibling pair back on speaking terms. But now, the petulant Devon is back at it once again.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Problem with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)
Devon is taking issue with Y&R’s Billy Abbott who is back at Chancellor-Winters. He feels that Billy is disagreeing with every decision he makes, and he feels like his sister is being unduly influenced by Billy. He wants Billy out of the company, while everyone else feels that Billy is an asset.
Devon is acting like a spoiled child, demanding that Billy go. He is putting pressure on Nate, saying that Nate is family and should agree with him on this matter. Devon uses the “family card” whenever it suits him, and he wants everyone to agree with his ideas and decisions.
Maybe it would be better for all involved if they could figure out how to divide up their company and send Devon packing with his share. He seems to be more trouble than ever. What do you think?
