‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) got a reminder of what they loved about each other as they bonded over Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) situation. Will this bring them back to a relationship with one another?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Together in Stress
Y&R’s Summer Newman tried to hold it all together this week with the loss of her son, Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell). Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) kidnapped him from his bed. They had no idea where he was and Summer was distraught.
Summer blamed Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for the kidnapping. Harrison was stolen from his bed when Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) was reading him a story. Summer believes that Claire helped Jordan get Harrison. Kyle isn’t convinced that Claire had anything to do with the situation.
Nick and Phyllis were brought together over their concern for Summer and Harrison. They encouraged each other helped each other have the courage to wait for the authorities. They both were going crazy with worry, but they gave each other support to wait it out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Relationship Hiatus
Neither Y&R’s Nick nor Phyllis are in relationships right now. Nick’s ex-girlfriend, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) went back to his brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Phyllis has been trying to catch the eye of Danny Romalotti (Michael Damien) but he only has eyes for Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell). She seems to finally be taking the hint that he isn’t interested.
While some fans believe that something could be ahead for Nick and his ex-wife, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), nothing has been brewing. They were thrust together when their daughter was attacked by Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) but since then, they haven’t interacted much.
Nick and Phyllis seem to ground each other in times of difficulty. While Phyllis can be a little “off her rocker”, Nick brings her down to earth again. When he feels scared but can’t admit it, Phyllis gives him courage and strength. Maybe they could find each other in one another’s arms again?
