‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that ever since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) accepted that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) belonged with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), he has been in a state of romantic uncertainty.
Although the relationship hasn’t actually progressed at all, the show has hinted at a potential reunion between Nick and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Fans just got a sneak peek at Nick and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) getting back together. Following her rejection by Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), Phyllis got drunk and planted a kiss on Nick in her hotel suite.
Thankfully, Nick decided not to slip into bed with her this time. However, Nick and Phyllis look great together, there’s no doubt about it! If the love endeavors between Nick and Phyllis have failed in the past, is Y&R passing up a chance to be back together?
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is There Still A Storyline Between Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)?
Phyllis says that she has changed, but she hasn’t shown it yet. Phyllis hasn’t done much to demonstrate her differences as she’s been too preoccupied with chasing Danny and her rivalry with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). The juvenile con artist that we have always seen is still there!
But this may be Phyllis and Nick’s chance to reunite for a more adult relationship on the show. Phyllis would have more time to devote to an adult relationship if she could truly change her life and put an end to all of her juvenile actions.
It may be a good idea for Nick and Phyllis to end their relationship permanently, though, as some fans believe the ship has gone. Nick had to deal with Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) suffering after Phyllis staged her death for a while, but now that it’s done, their friendship is going very well.
