‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are sure there’s something mixed in the water supply of Port Charles given some of the erratic decisions lately, with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) being one of the strangest.
She’s always been a lot of bluster, but she would usually have something to back it up or have some kind of plan. But lately she’s been a shadow of herself after being out maneuvered by Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Now that she’s backed into a corner and has no way out, she came up with a hair-brained scheme to take everything away from Tracy, and it’s more along the lines of what we’d expect a teenager to come up with.
She managed to get Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to join her in her cause isn’t surprising since he cares about her and she dangled the promise of a lot of money in front of him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – The basics
Lucy’s plan is pretty simple and straightforward. All it entails is Scott sweeping Tracy off her feet. Scott may be capable of doing that, but the timing isn’t good.
Tracy is fresh off closing the book on Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), so she is vulnerable in that regard, but she’s also going to be quick to attack if threatened or betrayed in this regard.
Right now, she’s intent on making things work with Deception so Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) can take it over, and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers doubt she’ll be looking for any relationship.
This doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but we don’t think Lucy really through this through and there’s every chance this will blow up in her face.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – What could go wrong?
Lucy is banking everything on Tracy falling for Scott so they can take everything she owns, and that will involve the Quartermaines and that’s another battle Lucy won’t win.
But before it even gets that far, Tracy is way too smart to fall for this. She was already giving Scott the side eye when he approached her to voice his support for her over Lucy’s idea about Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
This has potential to be a fun storyline, but Lucy is too quick to anger and react and as a result her plans tend to hit a wall and fall apart.
It’s only a matter of time, but we don’t see any of this ending well for Lucy.
