‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that Emme Rylan, formerly known for her role as Lulu Spencer, recently utilized her Instagram stories to offer clarity on a topic that has generated speculation.
The chatter surrounding the potential return of Lulu gained momentum following Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) escorting Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) to visit her comatose mother.
Moreover, as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) prepares to move into Lulu’s previous residence with her children, allusions to Lulu have been abundant in recent times.
The intrigue surrounding Lulu’s conceivable awakening and Emme Rylan‘s potential reprisal of the character is easily understandable. In response, Rylan playfully disclosed that she has been inundated with messages inquiring about the possibility of Lulu’s reawakening.
However, she had exercised caution in addressing this matter until now, out of a desire not to inadvertently unveil any unfolding storylines.
Rylan’s affirmation on her Instagram stories read, “So basically, the bottom line, no matter what the Internet says, I have made it very clear to GH that I am always available to play Lulu should she ever want to wake up.”

As per Rylan’s account, the show’s intent aligns with her continuing to portray Lulu, as opposed to opting for a recast. Nonetheless, she acknowledged the potential for developments behind the scenes.
“It is my understanding that when they choose to wake her up, they would be calling me. That could always change. Who knows? But that is my understanding.”
However, Rylan also underscored that the show has not issued such a call as of yet. If the plan indeed revolves around Rylan’s reprisal of the role of Lulu Spencer, the execution of that plan is not presently in progress.
Certainly, the recent situation involving the recasting of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), which saw Kate Mansi replace Lexi Ainsworth, illustrates that unforeseen changes can materialize irrespective of actors’ advance knowledge.
However, Emme Rylan presently maintains the belief that when Lulu Spencer eventually reawakens, she will be the one to breathe life into the character. The exact timing of Lulu’s resurgence remains uncertain, fueling eager anticipation among fans for any forthcoming updates.
