‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has asked her grandfather, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to help find her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
While Phyllis will most likely see the inside of a jail cell when she returns, Summer wants to at least know that she’s okay and not dead.
Victor unwillingly agreed to help his granddaughter and now, the search for Phyllis is on, however, could Phyllis sacrifice her freedom on her own and does she realize the amount of pain that she has put her daughter through?
This would be quite the turnaround for Phyllis and something I think fans could get behind if she really wanted to do the right thing.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) SACRIFICES Freedom For Her Daughter’s Marriage?
Summer’s marriage is falling apart because of her mother, and the only way that it might be saved is if Phyllis comes out and tells the truth, goes to jail and helps talk to Kyle.
While Kyle will probably hold a grudge for a while because this information has been keeping his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in jail and on house arrest, there may be a small chance that he would stay with Summer.
After all, they’ve already sacrificed a lot to be with each other and they have to think about Harrison. I still think that it’s pretty much over, but if they have any chance at saving their marriage and having Kyle forgive Summer, Phyllis is the key.
But for her to do anything, she will first have to come back and show everyone that she is indeed alive and that she faked her own death which won’t be easy to do.
