‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that Walt Willey will be coming to the show next month as his old character from ‘All My Children’, Jackson Montgomery. Willey told the news on his Facebook page saying, “I’ll be doing a few episodes of General Hospital, due to air mid July.
So excited to reprise my character and see and work with old friends,” Willey shared. “Jackson in Port Charles…who would have thought it? Let me — and ABC — know what you think about it!”
This is not the first time that his character has crossed over to another soap either, in 1996, Jackson appeared on the short-lived soap opera ‘The City’.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Walt Willey Is Reprising His ‘All My Children’ Character Jackson Montgomery In GH NEXT MONTH
Willey first appeared as Jackson in 1987 and remained in the role until the show’s final episode on September 23, 2011. In the final episode, viewers saw Jack telling off-and-on love interest Erica Kane, “Frankly, Erica, I don’t give a damn what you need.”
Now, all these years later we may finally hear what happened between them and what’s been going on in Jackson’s life since that moment over a decade ago.
It’s great to see a big moment on the show and we’re looking forward to seeing how his character will interact with the people of Port Charles and what he’ll even be doing in town in the first place!
