Queen Elizabeth passed away on September 8 in the afternoon at Balmoral Castle in Castle.

British Royal News says that the royal family gathered at the bedside of Queen Elizabeth II, who is under medical supervision at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The Queen’s close family have been informed, with the latest announcement escalating fears for the monarch’s health. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral,” a statement from Buckingham Palace said.

As of press time, all four of her children are traveling to be by her side at Balmoral Castle, along with her grandson, the Duke of Cambridge. Prince Charles and Camilla were staying nearby at Birkhall on the Balmoral estate, while Prince William traveled up to Scotland to be with the Queen.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who were scheduled to be doing a charity event in London this evening, are instead traveling to Balmoral Castle.

Buckingham Palace officials had said the move had been to create some ‘certainty’ in her Majesty’s calendar due to on-going mobility issues. New Prime Minister Liz Truss said: “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime” adding “my thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.”

The monarch, 96, pulled out of a virtual Privy Council on Wednesday, a day after appointing Liz Truss as PM at her home in the Scottish Highlands. The UK’s longest-reigning monarch has ongoing mobility issues and looked bright but frail and used a walking stick during Tuesday’s historic audience with Ms Truss, which followed a visit from outgoing prime minister Boris Johnson as he tendered his resignation.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any additional comments about the matter but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
