Sylvester Stallone may not be the one you think of when someone says superhero. The word has become so synonymous with Marvel or DC that it’s almost hard to imagine anything else anymore. However, Amazon Prime is testing the limits with their movie ‘Samaritan’.
Stallone plays the titular main character, a retired superhero who now quietly lives as a garbage man after a dark past of crime fighting. However, as the city continues to fall into shambles and with the help of a young kid helping rediscover who Samaritan is he will once again step up to the call and save his city.
The trailer has already surpassed two million views in just 2 days and viewers are shocked by how good it looks.

Viewers reacted to the trailer saying, “He looks incredible for his age. Incredible to see him still acting in these kind of roles at 76 years young and the movie looks like a really refreshing take on the superhero genre.” and “I’m impressed and I hope we get a physical release. This looks like it should be in theaters.”
There’s no doubt this won’t disappoint. Stallone is a living legend and continues to create fun films that may not win an Oscar, but will always be entertaining and exciting.
Amazon Prime’s ‘Samaritan’ will release next month on August 26th.
