Sylvester Stallone will not stop fighting for the rights to “Rocky.” In a fiery social media post on Saturday, the 76-year-old director attacked the 91-year-old producer Irwin Winkler over who should own the renowned boxing franchise. The 1976 film “Rocky” and its five sequels were written by and starred in by Sylvester Stallone, who also served as director for some of them.
“A VERY Flattering portrait of The Great Rocky/ Creed Producer , IRWIN WINKLER, from one of the country‘s greatest artist … ALSO after IRWIN controlling ROCKY for over 47 years , and now CREED, , I really would like have at least a little WHAT’s LEFT of my RIGHTS back, before passing it on to ONLY YOUR CHILDREN”
Stallone continued to say that he would like something to leave for his children and it seems like a fair gesture from Winkler,
“I believe That would be a FAIR gesture from this 93 year old gentleman ? … This is a painful subject That eats at my soul , because I wanted to leave something of Rocky for my children, but it’s always great hearing from the loyal fans… Keep Punching”

Sylvester Stallone IS SALTY – Isn’t Going To Stop Fighting For His Rights Over ‘Rocky’ Ownership
Stallone didn’t stop there. He made another post comparing the Winklers to vampires and that they’ve been staying fed off The Italian Stallion for decades along with a photo. Sly is coming for the whole thing and he’s not about to back down from getting what’s his.
“WELCOME TO THE REAL ROCKY HORROR SHOW!! We are Very happy Rocky Producer IRWIN AND MARGO , CHARLES and DAVID and THE ENTIRE EXTENDED FAMILY are staying heathy and very bloody well fed off the ITALIAN STALLION , while CONTROLLING All of the ROCKY FILMS FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS ! Bon appétit! KeepPunching!”
Sly is definitely feeling frustrated and what’s ownership over what he has created. Seems like a pretty fair request. #TeamRocky
