‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) believes it would be a good idea for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to take a step back and recuperate after everything that has happened to her and let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) step into the CEO role for a while.
Of course, Victoria was adamant about not letting that happen and will throw stones in her glass house all day. While she belittles Adam, if he had allowed to happen what she just did with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), she would be up in arms and trying to get him fired at every turn.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Why Won’t Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) Cut Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) A Break Already?!
Honestly, it’s a bit surprising that Victor is stepping out this far for Adam at this point, though I am happy he is trying. Adam has done nothing but prove himself to this family and continually gets cut down at the knees for his trouble. It’s time to allow him to space to breathe.
What annoys me the most however, is how Victoria can continue to lay it on him like she didn’t just get played like a fiddle for a year. Adding to her safety blanket now, is that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) had a heart attack and that was supposedly the cause of the accident that got him killed.
God forbid Victoria have any responsibility for what happened! Driving around emotionally in a storm like that, on the phone and probably not paying attention as much as she should… But no, let’s place all the blame on Rey. Shame on him for having a ‘heart attack’. It’s going to take me a while to accept that as true. Feels like a cop out and to save Victoria any guilt for what happened.
All of this on Victoria’s plate, and she has the audacity to continually discount Adam and walk over him like he’s not even there.
