If you caught Return to Amish on TLC, you were probably drawn in by the storylines of those leaving the Amish lifestyle to learn more about English life. One of the cast members, Jeremiah Raber has dropped the hint that they are filming a new season of the show.
Fans have been very curious if there would be a season seven of the show and they can rest easy knowing that there will be! Jeremiah decided to answer some fan questions this week and he dropped some serious hints!
Return to Amish: Jeremiah’s Instagram Session
In the last season of the show, Jeremiah was on the search for his biological father. Fans followed him on this journey and saw the ups and downs that it brought into his life. Jeremiah has been on the show for a few seasons now and we met some newcomers in the last season as well. The cast was also dealing with the pandemic, so this brought a new twist to the Amish stories.
Return to Amish: A New Season Filming
Fan favorites were Maureen and Rosanna. They are two young Amish girls who wanted to escape their parents and see what was waiting for them on the other side. They discovered love and romance and got a chance to see what English life is really all about.
Maureen ended up falling in love with a former-Amish cab driver and they got engaged. There was a lot of change for many of the cast members of the show and fans are curious what to expect in the new season.
Rosanna has welcomed a baby girl into her life, with her boyfriend, Johnny and it looks like her parents still support her even though she is in the English life. Jeremiah and Carmela ended their relationship and it looks like Jeremiah may have plans to ove to Ohio. He has a lot of family there, so he would like to be closer to them.
Jeremiah told his fans, “A season has already been filmed. We’re waiting on TLC to put it out.” In true TLC form, they will keep the premiere date until it is very close. If Jeremiah was able to mention it on social media, that must mean that he didn’t break his NDA and the premiere must be closer than we think.
We are excited about Return to Amish coming back to TLC. We hope to see a lot of the cast members coming back and hopefuly we can see some new faces who want to try English life.
