The romantic relationship between Green Bay Packers quarterback and actress Shailene Woodley is officially over. The couple has called off their engagement after being together less than two years. The 38-year-old NFL MVP and actress have ended things for good.
The two of them started seeing each other rather quickly after the quarterback’s breakup from racing superstar Danica Patrick in 2020 and their engagement was announced last year in February. However, it looks like the love train has left the station and they didn’t bring their tickets.
Aaron Rodgers And Shailene Woodley Call It Quits After Less Than 2 Years Together
While they were inseparable for months and things got serious between them and even considering parenthood, it looks like things just didn’t work out. Woodley has been a staunch defender of Rodgers since he’s faced criticism of his COVID-19 vaccination status back in November, but talks of the split and rumors began coming around in December.
The criticism plagued Rodgers for what seemed like forever, but he had people like Joe Rogan on his side and he stood strong with his beliefs.
Rumors suggest that Rodgers was focusing too much on his football career and Shailene was taking a backseat in their relationship and that she felt “neglected”. However, it looked like if he did prioritize his career, it worked. As he won NFL MVP for 2021.
Could this mean that Rodgers will be spending many more years in the league and wanted to focus on that aspect of his life instead or were there other things going on behind the scenes that we didn’t know about?
