So during the Jake Paul fight, there was a rumor that was perpetuated online that rappers The Island Boys got thrown out for throwing shoes. That was only partially true however, yes, The Island Boys did get thrown out of the fight but it was not for throwing shoes, it was, according to a life they did later because a cop working security at the fight got mad because of a drink got thrown on his head.
The Island Boys themselves however was not responsible, rather it was their rowdy (and we’re only assuming) drunk friend, who was responsible, and The Island Boys were deemed guilty by association so they all got tossed out of the fight.

They went on live later to say that that they would not throw shoes because they were wearing Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen shoes on. If anyone is familiar with the price point of these shoes then one will realize that unless you’re Elon Musk, throwing them wouldn’t be a wise idea.
While Island Boy is a rapper and can obviously afford them, they’re still not that well known so it wouldn’t make sense for them to throw their nice things away once they just got them. So who was responsible for the rumor going viral?
None Other Than Keemstar!
He tweeted out the false information initially, and that got the ball rolling against Island Boy. He did come back later and say that he got the information wrong but by that time the damage had already been done and thousands of people online believed that The Island Boys was throwing shoes at the Jake Paul fight when that wasn’t the reason.
So… what is it with Keemstar and trying to get people cancelled lately? He claims to be against cancel culture but he certainly seems to like to benefit from it when he can. First it was Ethan Klein, and now The Island Boys? Who is he going to go after next? It just seems a little strange that someone that seems to be so against cancel culture would be actively going after people in the same fashion. Stay tuned!!!
